Imodium Instants 2mg (loperamide hydrochloride) are oral dispersible tablets designed to melt on the tongue for fast-acting, waterless relief of sudden (acute) diarrhea in adults and children 12+. They work within 20–60 minutes by slowing an overactive bowel, reducing frequency. Initial dose is 2 tablets (4mg), followed by 1 tablet (2mg) per subsequent loose stool, not exceeding 6 tablets/day (12mg).
